THE QUICK ANSWER

Is Paddington afternoon tea bus right for you?

Choose Paddington for guests who will value the theme. It can be a better fit than a classic tea bus for a family celebration, provided everyone meets the tour’s age requirements.

Best for: A themed outing for Paddington fans
Suggested planning allowance: One scheduled themed departure
Experience: Character-themed afternoon tea

What to check before booking Paddington afternoon tea bus

Character theming does not imply a live character appearance. Minimum ages, child menus and seat requirements depend on the actual product.

How to plan your Paddington afternoon tea bus visit

The operator currently lists 8 Northumberland Avenue, WC2N 5BY, near Trafalgar Square, for departure and return. Arrive 20 minutes early and follow your voucher if it specifies different instructions. There is no onboard toilet; plan a stop before reaching the bus. Standard admission is for ages five and over.

Paddington afternoon tea bus: booking questions

How long is the Paddington afternoon tea bus?

The operator describes an approximately 90-minute tour. Traffic can affect the journey, so leave room before another timed booking.

What dietary arrangements should I make?

Select the appropriate menu and request confirmation at least 72 hours in advance. The operator cannot cater for every allergy or combination of requirements; a gluten-free menu is not suitable for coeliac guests. Confirm your particular needs before payment.

Is this the Paddington Christmas lights tour?

This page links the standard Paddington afternoon tea tour. Do not assume a seasonal route or Christmas lights are included unless your selected option explicitly names them.

Can I board at Paddington station?

No. The operator lists Northumberland Avenue near Trafalgar Square. Save the voucher’s actual meeting point and follow its check-in instructions.

Paddington afternoon tea bus: themed entertainment and booking checks

Choose Paddington for the character theme, onboard activities and afternoon tea, rather than treating it as a conventional sightseeing bus with a snack.

How long is the Paddington tea bus?

Brigit’s Bakery currently describes a 90-minute tour. Traffic can affect the day, so leave a comfortable gap before a separate timed booking.

Can dietary requirements be handled automatically?

No. Select the appropriate menu and confirm any allergy needs in advance. The operator has restrictions, including combinations of requirements it cannot cater for; a gluten-free menu is not a guarantee of suitability for coeliac guests.

Where does the Paddington bus depart?

The operator lists 8 Northumberland Avenue, WC2N 5BY, near Trafalgar Square. This is not Paddington station. Arrive 20 minutes before departure and check the exact instructions on your voucher.

Is Paddington suitable for under-fives?

No. The standard Paddington tea bus is for ages five and over; babies and children under five are not permitted. Compare another age-appropriate experience for younger children.

Are there toilets or sightseeing stops?

There is no onboard toilet and the tour is not hop-on hop-off. Plan a toilet stop before boarding and assess whether everyone can remain seated throughout the journey.

Does an upper-deck ticket reserve the front table?

Do not assume so. Compare the named category, stairs, seating allocation and whether the party sits together. A front VIP table must be explicitly included; a photograph does not reserve it.
